Pilgrim hostels in Navarra

Municipal pilgrims’ hostels in Navarra

The pilgrim who starts the Way of Saint James in Saint Jean Pied de Port faces thirty-one stages of the Route and more than seven hundred kilometres to cover. It is a physical and mental challenge that requires good preparation beforehand and rest during the days.

On their way through Navarra, pilgrims have at their disposal various establishments where they can rest, from four-star hotels to hostels. However, the experience invites you to spend nights in municipal and public hostels, sharing and getting to know other pilgrims.

The establishments intended exclusively for the accommodation of those who make the Pilgrim’s Way require the pilgrim’s credential to spend the night. These hostels usually have lower prices.

Pilgrims who want to live their experience in an improvised way can choose where to spend the night once they reach the end of the stage. However, during the busiest months, it is advisable to plan your stops and reserve a bed.

The hostel is located at 55 Citadelle street. The establishment is open all year round, has all the basic facilities and has 32 beds divided into three dormitories. Its price per night is 12€ and includes breakfast. Reservations are not allowed in this case.
