Palencia: network of municipal hostels in Castilla y León

After leaving Burgos behind, the Way of Saint James enters the province of Palencia. During three stages, the Route crosses the territory of Palencia and covers more than twenty kilometres a day. Although the Pilgrim’s Way is a spiritual journey, it involves physical effort. For this reason, rest is essential.

Before reaching the first end of the stage in Palencia, the pilgrim can find this municipal hostel in Itero de la Vega. It is located 8 kilometres from Boadilla del Camino, in Church Square. It has a total of 13 beds and all necessary services. The price per night is 5€.

Stage 15. Boadilla del Camino

This hostel exclusively for pilgrims is in the Old Schools of Boadilla del Camino. It is necessary to present the pilgrim’s credential and does not accept reservations. It has 12 beds and the price per night is 4€.
